National rating Agency will begin work about the middle of December


Moscow. November 20. Analytical credit rating Agency (ACRA) will start operating approximately in mid-December, said the head of the Agency, a member of the management Board of Gazprombank Ekaterina Trofimova journalists on Friday.

“Administrative procedures are such that even a few days is the collection of all necessary documents for registration, then about a week to register the company, to issue shares, therefore, its operating Agency, is likely to start approximately in mid-December,” said Trofimova.

At the founding meeting of an ACRE on 20 November it was decided to appoint Trofimova, CEO of the new organization. “Before the official inauguration I will resign his current post in Gazprombank”, – said Trofimov.

The meeting also elected the Board of Directors of the new structure. Trofimova in addition, it included the candidates, which source reported earlier. Independent members of the Board of Directors former managing partner of “Ernst & young” on CIS countries Karl Johansson, who has worked for many years at Moody’s and s&P Anuar Hassoun, President of the European Association of credit rating agencies (EACRA) Thomas Missong, former managing Director of the unit of analysis sovereign risk, Moody’s Vincent Truglia. All of them are citizens of foreign countries.

The Bank of Russia in late July announced the creation of a new rating Agency, which is tipped as rivals of the “big three”, criticized the Russian authorities for political motives by reducing the sovereign rating of the Russian Federation.

The Agency is expected to begin to assign initial ratings in the second or third quarter of 2016. The authorized capital of the new structure amounted to more than 3 billion roubles, it is distributed between 27 shareholders in equal shares.
