The head of the FMS of Russia and the Ambassador of Norway in Russia discussed the problem of refugees


Russian and Norwegian parties on the results of the meeting reached understanding on the need to develop a General constructive approach to resolving the situation.

MOSCOW, 21 Nov. The head of the Federal migration service of Russia Konstantin Romodanovsky discussed on Friday with the Ambassador of Norway in Russia Leiblum Namtvedt approach to solving the problem of refugees, reported on the Agency’s website.

“Following the events of the Russian and Norwegian sides have reached understanding on the need to develop a General constructive approach to resolve the situation”, — stated in the message.

Every day across the Russian border to Norway crossing the tens or even hundreds of refugees — on some days up to 200 people. Refugees from more than 20 countries — primarily Afghanistan, Pakistan, Egypt, Syria, and others. In Northern Norway have already established several camps on reception.

Some Norwegian politicians are in favour of that temporarily close border with Russia to stop the increasing flow of refugees, many of whom, in the opinion of the Norwegian authorities, do not need shelter.
