MOSCOW, November 21. The draft law “On development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation” will be prepared by the government and submitted to the state Duma in the autumn of 2016. This was reported to journalists by the Minister of natural resources and environment of Russia Sergey Donskoy.
“The law would have to be made by the government on consideration to the state Duma already in autumn next year. I hope that all forces authorities, Federal and regional, who are interested in preparing such a bill, in the fall it will be done,” he said.
The bill will become the legal Foundation for the realization of economic interests of Russia in the Arctic. There will be created organizational and financial mechanisms of stimulation of development of Arctic regions, includes measures to increase investment attractiveness of the macroregion. In the Federation Council expect that it will be adopted before the end of 2016.
