Russia and Turkey hold similar or overlapping approaches to many global and regional problems, intend to continue a constructive dialogue, said in a statement the Russian foreign Ministry on the eve of the fifth meeting of the Joint strategic planning group, which will be held on November 25.
MOSCOW, November 23. Moscow and Ankara agree on the need to strengthen cooperation in tackling global and regional challenges, according to the comments of the Department of information and press of the Russian foreign Ministry.
In Istanbul on 25 November chaired by the foreign Ministers of Russia and Turkey Sergei Lavrov and Feridun sinirlioğlu will hold the fifth meeting of the Joint strategic planning group (SGSP), operating under headed by the presidents of Russia and the Turkish Council of high level cooperation (SWOT).
“Held in-depth exchange of views on a wide range of bilateral, regional and international issues. The Ministers will discuss the situation in Syria, the overall situation in the Middle East and North Africa. In the spotlight — improving the efficiency of the fight against terrorism.
