The Crimean Prosecutor’s office expects that on Tuesday will decide on the criminal case against the organizers of undermining the power lines on the territory of Kherson region of Ukraine, resulting in completely stopped the supply of Crimea. This was stated to journalists by the head of Department Natalia Polonskaya.

“Currently, investigators of management of FSB in the Republic of Crimea held a test, study materials sent by the Prosecutor’s office. We expect that today will be the decision on initiation of legal proceedings on signs of part 2 of article 281 of the criminal code (sabotage). This article envisages a punishment seen by imprisonment for up to 20 years,” the Prosecutor said.
Poklonski explained that the circle of suspects will be defined by the investigators, from the announcement of the specific names she refrained. She added that the suspects can be put on the international wanted list.
November 22, in the Crimea was entered emergency mode due to the cessation of supplies from Ukraine.
