Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Ryabkov said that the us side appreciated the seriousness of the incident with the Russian SU-24 and agreed with the inadmissibility of such incidents.
NEW YORK, 25 Nov. Olga Denisova. Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Ryabkov and U.S. Undersecretary of state rose Guatemalan during the meeting in new York discussed the situation with Turkey shot down a Russian su-24 bomber.
“We discussed this situation with rose Guatemalan,” Ryabkov told journalists after the meeting.
He noted that the evaluation of the incident were expressed by the President of Russia, head of the foreign Ministry and the Ministry of defence.
“The seriousness of the incident and the inadmissibility of such incidents, it seems to me that the American side is obvious”, — said Ryabkov.
On Tuesday the Russian su-24 aircraft crashed in Syria. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin announced that the plane was shot down by a rocket type “air-air” with a Turkish F-16s over Syrian territory and fell in Syria four kilometers from the border with Turkey. The Russian President called it a “stab in the back” by the accomplices of terrorists. The Russian General staff stated that attacked the su-24 the border with Turkey did not cross and this is confirmed by Syrian air defense. Turkey claims that a Russian aircraft entered its airspace.
