VORONEZH, 24 Nov. Authorities in Voronezh region intend to create in the region a special economic zone with private sector investment to 100 billion rubles, said Tuesday the regional government.
The creation of the special economic zone of industrial-production type on the territory of the Voronezh region discussed Tuesday at a meeting with Minister of economic development of Russia Alexei Ulyukayev, Governor of the region Alexey Gordeev. At the moment, prepared the application for the establishment of a special economic zone in the Ministry of economic development of the Russian Federation.
“The creation of special economic zone is planned on a total area of 220 hectares in the southern part of the industrial Park “Maslovsky”, — stated in the message.
Its intentions on the implementation of investment projects on the territory of the created SEZ have already confirmed seven companies.
“The project of the special zone will contribute to create a favorable investment climate in the region, to expand the tax base, the creation of new productive jobs and will attract about 100 billion roubles of private investments”, — said the regional government.
According to the information of the Voronezh authorities, at the end of the meeting the speaker “has supported the project on creation of the SEZ in the Voronezh region”.
