MOSCOW, November 26. The meeting of presidents of Russia and Turkey Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the climate summit in Paris on 30 November is not planned, said press Secretary of Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.

Previously Peskov was informed that the preparations for a separate meeting between Putin and U.S. President Barack Obama at the climate summit in Paris is not, but the contacts between the leaders was possible. “Really, some meetings not yet specified”, – he noted. “However, we all know that if you want and if necessary the leaders of Russia and the United States use multilateral formats to contact with each other in one form or another”, – said the representative of the Kremlin.
The Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov had previously reported that Putin on the sidelines of the climate conference will hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as other contacts.
Recall also that the French Ambassador in Moscow Jean-Maurice Ripert, said, “Putin has confirmed his participation in the conference along with heads of States and governments in nearly 100 countries.”
“We are pleased that Russia plays an appropriate role in the efforts to achieve a binding agreement aimed at curbing the global warming that we, and our children and grandchildren can live on a planet suitable for life. It’s too important a task to give her hostage to anyone,” said Ripert.
