MOSCOW, 25 Nov. “Rosneft” plans to increase drilling in the next year and maintain this level and further, said during a conference call first Vice President Eric Liron.
“We will significantly increase the volume of drilling in 2016, we will maintain a level of 2016 and later in the future…. A more accurate figure will be determined by the adoption of the business plan,” said Liron.
“Rosneft” by the end of 2015 plans to secure the growth of production drilling at least 30% compared with the previous year, according to the presentation of the company. The plan for commissioning new wells — more than 1,700 units with a share of horizontal wells not less than 30%.
For the first nine months 2015 the volume of production drilling by Rosneft was increased by one third compared with the same period of 2014. During this period, have been put into operation more than 1.3 thousand new wells.
