NIZHNY NOVGOROD, 25 Nov. The Assembly of deputies of Yoshkar-Ola on Wednesday took the decision on early termination of the contract with the city’s mayor Pavel Plotnikov in connection with a breach of trust, announced in the meeting.
Carpenter heads the city since October 31, 2014, prior to that, he was first Deputy mayor.
“The deputies adopted a decision on termination of the contract with the mayor in connection with loss of trust by the public Prosecutor of the Republic of Mari El,” — said the representative of the Assembly of deputies.
According to him, the contract will be terminated as of today.
As reports management of public relations and information of head of the Republic of Mari El, in the Prosecutor’s submission stated that the mayor of Yoshkar-Ola are not properly comply with the requirements of the law “On combating corruption” and “On municipal service” in terms of the ban on business activity.
In particular, according to the Deputy Prosecutor of the Republic Aleksandr Kondratyev, “the results of the check were produced compelling evidence of non-compliance Plotnikov restrictions and prohibitions on participation in the management of commercial entities during his tenure as municipal clerk”.
