The state Duma Committee approved the amendments on fines from trucks over 12 tons


MOSCOW, 26 Nov. The constitutional Committee of the state Duma recommended Thursday the lower house of Parliament adopted in the second reading the draft, establishing the order of charging trucks weighing more than 12 tons and the penalties for evasion of payment.

It is proposed to amend the administrative code of the Russian Federation, according to which the failure to comply with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation of payment on account of compensation of harm, caused by heavy trucks to the roads will incur fines on drivers in the amount of five thousand rubles, and in the case of detecting a violation of the cameras, the fine is imposed on the owner (owner) of the vehicle in the amount of five thousand rubles.

The second violation entails a fine on the driver in the amount of 10 thousand rubles. By fixing the cameras — a fine of 10 thousand rubles for the owner of the vehicle.

The former provisions of the administrative code was drawn, in particular, the imposition of fines for legal entities in the amount of 450 thousand rubles.

According to the text amendments, changes to the provisions of the law “About highways and about road activity in the Russian Federation”. Thus, the movement of vehicles, having the resolved maximum weight over 12 tons, on highways of General use of Federal importance shall be allowed subject to payment on account of compensation of harm caused to roads by such vehicles.
