“Turkish stream” fall under the provisions of the law on measures against Turkey

Russia stops work on a number of projects of investment and trade agreements with Turkey, said Minister of economic development of Russia Alexei Ulyukayev. “This free trade agreement in services and investments, is a long-term five-year program from 2016 to 2020, trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation, the agreement on creation of joint investment Fund”, – said Ulyukayev.

The project of the gas pipeline “Turkish stream” is also subject to Russian law on special economic measures, which are the legal basis for the adoption of Moscow’s restrictive measures against Turkey, the Minister said. “This project is no different from any other project, and just talking about our investment cooperation,” Ulyukayev said on Thursday, responding to a question.
