MOSCOW, 29 Nov. The reduction of quotas for attracting Turkish citizens to work in Russia may affect the number of qualified personnel in the field of construction, stated supervisor of the state University Higher school of Economics Yevgeny Yasin.
On Saturday, the Minister of labour and social protection RF Maxim Topilin said that the quota for employing citizens of the Turkish Republic in 2016 will be considerably less in comparison with year 2015 (when it accounted for more than 67 thousand work permits).
Earlier the President of Russia Vladimir Putin decided to prohibit or limit activities under the jurisdiction of the Turkish organizations in the territory of the Russian Federation. Also Putin has banned Russian employer to hire Turkish nationals from 1 January 2016.
“Citizens of Turkey occupies a separate niche in the Russian labour market — they performed quality work in the field of construction, we can get the lack of quality frames that still were,” said Yasin.
