MOSCOW, 4 Dec. The decision on who will head the list of United Russia in the Duma elections in 2016 will be adopted at the party Congress in June, said Secretary of the General Council of the EP (the second person in the party) Sergei Neverov.
“It defines the Congress to be held in the month of June”, — said Neverov on a question, whether it is known who will head the list “an United Russia” on forthcoming parliamentary elections.

Secretary of the General Council of the EP clarified that the exact date of the Congress be called.
“The exact date I can not tell you, because the Congress will be held after the going forth of the decree of the President about the conduct of elections”, — said Neverov. The law States that the party conventions nominate Federal lists of candidates not earlier than 10 and no later than 30 days after publication of the decision on appointment of elections to the Duma.
In mid-November the leader of the EP’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has not excluded that will take part in the Duma election in 2016 as Chairman of the party. “I do not exclude that it will happen,” he said. According to him, the party in power has a chance to make the elections better than in 2011.
