Putin proposed to name the Primakov built warship


MOSCOW, December 4. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin suggested to name the policy of Yevgeny Primakov, one of the new ships of the Russian Navy and to establish a medal Primakov. Such suggestions are contained in the presidential decree published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

Also, the President has established ten personal grants of a name of Primakov for students of economic faculty of Moscow state University.M.In.Lomonosov and the same for students of the University.

The Moscow government is recommended to consider installing a memorial plaque on the house where he lived Primakov (Skatertny pereulok, 3).

The document notes that the decision to perpetuate the memory of Primakov are accepted taking into account its contribution to the formation of Russian statehood and economic reforms.

Yevgeny Primakov died June 26, at 86-year life. On June 29 he was buried with military honors at Novodevichy cemetery.

An orientalist, Yevgeny Primakov began his political career in the late 1980s. In 1991, he headed the Soviet and then Russian foreign intelligence Service. In 1996 became Minister of foreign Affairs, and in 1998 – the Prime Minister. In December 1999 he was elected Deputy of the state Duma from the block “Fatherland – All Russia”. From 2001 to 2011, Primakov served as President of the chamber of Commerce.
