MOSCOW, December 7. The growth of domestic tourist traffic in Russia exceeded 30% compared with the same period last year, reported the press service of the Federal tourism Agency.
“Due to the dramatically changed political and economic situation in Russia and the world on the Russian tourist market experiences truly tectonic changes”, – noted in Department.
So, the outbound tourist flow from Russia in 2015 has fallen by more than 40%. In the Federal tourism Agency called the current conditions on the Russian travel market is unique.
Earlier, the head of the Agency Oleg Safonov reported that outbound tourism from Russia by the end of 2015 will fall by more than 40%. Negatively on this indicator, including the impact suspension of air links with Egypt and cooperation with Turkey. Previously, these countries were the favourite destinations of Russian tourists organized for foreign guests.
Safonov also expected growth of domestic tourism in 2015 by 30% year-on-year, while inbound tourist flow to Russia, in his estimation, could rise to 16%.
