MOSCOW, 9 Dec. The Deputy foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov received on Wednesday in Moscow a delegation of elected Egyptian parliamentarians headed by the founder leading to the election of the party “the Free Egyptians” by Naguib Sawiris, according to the Russian foreign Ministry.
“During the meeting were discussed the issues of multifaceted Russian-Egyptian cooperation, including the intensification of contacts through non-governmental and public organizations, as well as inter-parliamentary cooperation with regard to held in October-December General election in the Chamber of deputies of Egypt”, — stated in the message published on the website of the Russian foreign Ministry.
“He also held a keen exchange of views on developments in the middle East and North Africa with emphasis on the search for a speedy political settlement of crisis situations in the region. In this case, he was diagnosed with the need to consolidate international efforts in the fight against the universal evil of terrorism”, — stated in the message.
