MOSCOW, December 9. The Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on constitutional legislation and state construction Andrey Klishas said that the chamber will not make any statement or decision in connection with the appeal of the Fund of struggle against corruption (FBK), dedicated to the family of the Russian Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika.

Klishas said that “when reading material presented it is obvious that concerning Yury Chaika no defamatory facts.” In this regard, the MP said that neither the Committee nor the house as a whole “has no plans to adopt any resolutions or statements on this issue”. “We view this as a stuffing material of compromising, which isn’t supported by any evidence in respect of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation”, – said the Senator.
