Moscow. December 10. The government of the Russian Federation in 2016 will increase funding for basic research up to 135 billion rubles, said Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
“In 2015, we have identified 387 billion roubles from the Federal budget on these purposes, and next year, I want especially to emphasize, for funding, for example, fundamental research we increase to 135 billion rubles, which was not the case in recent years”, – said Medvedev at the ceremony of presenting government awards in science and technology.
In this regard, he noted, “even in the current environment we have the opportunity priorities in a certain way to change”.
