At the operational meeting with permanent members of the security Council of the Russian Federation the President of Russia discussed the operation of the Russian HQs in Syria and socio-economic issues.

MOSCOW, 11 Dec. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin discussed at the operational meeting with permanent members of the security Council of the Russian Federation the course of the operation HQs in Syria and the current socio-economic agenda, reported the press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov.

“In continuation of topics raised at the Board meeting of the defense Ministry, the meeting discussed the progress of the operation of the Russian HQs in Syria and exchanged views on the current issues of the socio-economic agenda,” said Sands.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, state Duma speaker Sergei Naryshkin, presidential chief of staff Sergei Ivanov, FSB head Alexander Bortnikov, the head of SVR Mikhail Fradkov, Deputy Secretary of the Russian security Council Rashid Nurgaliyev and permanent member of the security Council of the Russian Federation Boris Gryzlov.
