Smolny: evidence from companies on receipt of goods from Turkey don’t have


ST. PETERSBURG, 11 December. Evidence from companies about getting goods from Turkey yet. This was announced by the Chairman of the Committee on industrial policy and innovation Maxim Meiksin. The Federal customs service of Russia (FCS) previously announced the additional measures and “100% smooth production of automotive components coming from Turkey to the Russian manufacturers”.

“Confirmations from the companies yet, it might be connected with the end of the week. I hope that in the near future this information will go,” said Meiksin.

He also said that the problems emerged not only in the number of brands, but also in other industries. “Today I talked with the company Bosch-Siemens in St. Petersburg, which announced the suspension of production of washing machines and refrigerators has worked the last shift. About the problems they warned us a week ago”, – said the head of the industrial Committee. The official spokesman was unavailable for comment.

According to Meiksin, the situation has concerned several dozens of enterprises in St. Petersburg. Earlier it was reported that Turkish imports is small, but plays an important role in the cooperation chain. The company did not make large reserves, and redirecting to the new suppliers will take several months.

Earlier the office of Vice-Governor on economy Sergey Movchan said that he appealed to the Federal customs service of Russia with the request to solve the problem of Turkish supply of components for the automotive cluster and machine-building industry of the city. According to officials, enterprises and their suppliers drew the authorities ‘ attention to the fact that after the imposition of economic measures against Turkey has increased the turnaround time of goods coming from this country. Full inspection are the goods which are not included in the sanctions list of products.
