The Russian foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that during the past period the country passed a long way of establishment of friendly bilateral relations.
MOSCOW, 11 Dec. Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation and Mexico have exchanged congratulatory messages on the occasion of Friday the 125th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, said the foreign Ministry.
“In his address Sergey Lavrov stressed that over the past period, Russia and Mexico have come a long way of establishment of friendly bilateral relations. At the present stage, our countries share similar views on the way of formation of a new polycentric world order based on fundamental principles of international law and the Central coordinating role of the UN, commitment to the collective search of answers to global calls and threats”, — stated in the message of the foreign Ministry.
“The head of the Mexican foreign Ministry (Claudia Ruiz Massie Salinas ed.), in turn, noted that the anniversary of diplomatic relations testifies to the strong friendship between Russia and Mexico. Celebrations this year should be the basis for further joint substantive work,” — said the foreign Ministry.
