Earlier Vladimir Kuznetsov was the Deputy permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the Food and agriculture organization of the United Nations (FAO) and world food programme (WFP) in Rome.
UN 11 Dec. The UN information centre in Moscow, headed by Vladimir Kuznetsov, the corresponding appointment was made by UN Secretary-General ban Ki-moon, reported on the website of the Moscow office of the world organization.
In this position, Kuznetsov was replaced by Alexander Gorelik, who held this post for 15 years. Previously, Kuznetsov was the Deputy permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the Food and agriculture organization of the United Nations (FAO) and world food programme (WFP) in Rome, as well as the Minister-Counsellor of the Russian Embassy in Italy. From 1999 to 2008, Kuznetsov was Deputy Director of the Department of information and press of MFA of Russia.
The UN Secretariat expressed gratitude to Alexander Gorelik “for his leadership in disseminating the spirit and letter of the UN in Russia, but also for his incredible devotion to work”, — stated in the message.
