Anatoly Serdyukov is the industrial Director of aviation cluster of the state Corporation “rostec”, said the official representative of “Russian Helicopters”. It noted that the decision on the appointment of Serdyukov to the Board of Directors of the holding company, which belongs to a given cluster, the expected and logical.
MOSCOW, Dec 14. The decision about the election to the Board of Directors of “Russian Helicopters” which presently occupies the post of industrial Director of aviation cluster “Rostec” Anatoly Serdyukov is expected and logical, said the official representative “Helicopters of Russia”.
Serdyukov in 2007-2012 he served as Minister of defense. Earlier on Monday, the “Helicopters of Russia” announced that the shareholders elected the Board of Directors, in which, in particular, Serdyukov had entered.

Serdyukov left the defense Ministry after disclosing large-scale schemes of plunders of state ownership in the Ministry. As a result, in 2012, initiated the so-called case of “Oboronservis”, a key defendant who was a former official of the defense Ministry Evgenia Vasilyeva, who received five years in prison for embezzling over 800 million rubles. In August, the court dismissed Vasilyev parole.
“Helicopters of Russia” – one of the world’s leading helicopter industry, the only developer and manufacturer of helicopters in Russia and one of the few companies in the world with the capacity of designing, production, testing and maintenance of modern civil and military helicopters. Holding “Helicopters of Russia” is included in the structure of the state Corporation “rostec”.
