St. PETERSBURG, December 14 –. Omsk region has submitted a number of Arctic projects at the V international forum “Arctic: present and future”, held on 7-9 December in St. Petersburg.
At the forum the Arctic region presented large projects in the Arctic, amphibious vehicles, air cushion lifting capacity of 90 tons, heavy cargo platform, developed jointly with JSC “Gazprom”, the system of digital radio “DSS amber-Tons of IT, heavy engineering machinery for construction in permafrost conditions, prefabricated bridge crossing.
“Our amphibious all-terrain vehicles on an air cushion “Arctic” are used to transport people and cargo. Polar heated Omsk boilers, capable of operating on low quality fuel and low temperature conditions. All this and more were presented at “WTTA-2015”, —said the Governor of Omsk region Viktor Nazarov.
Nazarov added that is also used in the North of the Omsk communications systems, equipment for building in permafrost conditions.
“One such digital radio system, which is used in remote communities in the Northern latitudes and provides services in emergencies and the management of urban structure, CSS is “Yantar-T IT”. The system was developed by JSC “Omsk research Institute of instrument” (oniip), part of state Corporation rostec, in cooperation with the Omsk Association “Irtysh” and the instrument-making plant named after Kozitsky”, — said at the Arctic forum, the head of the branch in St.-Petersburg ON “Irtysh” Alexander Buldakov.
He added that this system was applied in the conduct of the 2014 Winter Olympics and APEC 2012. It also operates in Moscow and St. Petersburg, Lensk and on the objects of OJSC “AK “Transneft”, OJSC “NK “Rosneft”, PJSC “Gazprom”, state Corporation “Rosatom”. Only the Russian Federation deployed more than 75 Ceta connection.
Currently “amber DSS-T IT” will be used in Sevastopol to ensure communication in emergency situations. “Necessary equipment was delivered to the city, which is now undergoing installation. The communication range in the city will be 50-60 kilometers,” — said Bulgakov.
