Governor of Magadan oblast Vladimir Baked noted that the miners are marching to the execution of the task: to produce this year at least 25 tons of gold and more than 1000 tons of silver.
MAGADAN, 15 Dec. The miners of the Magadan region produced over 11 months in 2015 a record number of silver — 1058 tons, 142 tons more than last year, said the representative of the press service of the regional government.
“In addition to silver, the Kolyma mining companies have extracted 23,7 tonnes of gold, 211 pounds above last year. The leaders of the mining and steel Yagodninsky Susumansky municipal district. The undisputed leader in the silver mining remains the Omsukchan district,” — said the Agency interlocutor.

“It is clear that the plan for the extraction of silver miners of Kolyma managed to overachieve and exceed the milestone of one thousand tons. This is a good result. There is still time before the end of the year and I am sure that employees of enterprises and cooperatives of the Kolyma river will break the record of last year and for the extraction of gold,” said Baked.
