The government’s bill envisages the abolition of the indexation of pensions to working pensioners in 2016 and a two-step increase for other categories.
MOSCOW, 15 Dec –. The state Duma meeting on Tuesday will consider in the third final reading the draft law on cancellation of indexation of pensions to working pensioners in 2016 and a two-stage increase for the rest.
In the second reading the governmental bill was adopted on 4 December.
The project involves the increase of insurance of pensions from 1 February 2016 to 4%. It is expected that the average pension in this case will increase to 12.6 thousand.
In the second half of the year will be held the second mandatory indexation. Its size and timing will determine in a separate law.
The bill abolishes the indexation of insurance pensions in 2016 for working pensioners.
In determining who is a working pensioner, and who is not, will take into account the fact that the work of the last reporting date according to the Pension Fund. Such information the Fund collects quarterly, so the last reporting date for a decision on indexation or deindexation pensions 1 February 2016 30 September 2015.
