BEIJING, 17 Dec. Understanding of the amount of the contract price for gas for Ukraine in the first quarter of 2016 may receive next week, told reporters energy Minister Alexander Novak.
“We have until the end no calculations on prices in the first quarter. Maybe next week will be clear with the prices,” said Novak.
By estimations “Gazprom”, the contract price of Russian gas for Ukraine in the first quarter of 2016 could be about $ 230 per thousand cubic meters.
The government of the Russian Federation adopts the decision on granting Ukraine a discount on gas on the basis of application of “Gazprom”, which after the appropriate letter to the Russian company “Naftogaz”. The head of “Gazprom” Alexey Miller earlier on Thursday said that “Naftogaz of Ukraine” has not yet been applied to “Gazprom” on this issue.
