SEVASTOPOL, December 17. /Corr. Janina Vaskovsky/. Press conference of the President of the Russian Federation on Thursday will be broadcast on four multifunction screens set up in different parts of the city. This was stated by the head of Department of Informatization and communications of the government of Sevastopol Vadim Dvoryanenko.

“These screens worked around the clock all times of emergency, transmitting operational information to the public. Three of them are out of order due to power surges. Specially in preparation for the press conference of the President, we drove up the parts and brought them in line,” said Dvoryanenko.
On December 3 multi-function screens were broadcast the President’s address to the Federal Assembly. At that time, due to the hard rolling blackouts for many of the local residents knew this was the only opportunity to see the broadcast.
At the moment, residential areas are practically cut off communications and the Internet are operational, however, the broadcast of significant events traditionally causes the citizens interest.
