MOSCOW, December 17. The decision on participation of Russia in the winter session of the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will take in January. This was stated to journalists by the head of the Russian delegation in PACE, Chairman of the Duma Committee on international Affairs Alexei Pushkov.
“We are now thinking about how we behave in relation to PACE, who will decide in January, but, of course, before the session,” said Pushkov.
He said that this theme is interconnected with the position on payment of fee of the Russian Federation to the Council of Europe. “It (the decision on the fee) will be adopted in mid-January,” – said the MP.
