VLADIVOSTOK, December 18. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on December 18 will hold in Vladivostok joint Commission meeting on import substitution and the Commission on socio-economic development of the Far East and the Baikal region. About it reported in a press-service of the government.

The meeting participants will consider issues of production and procurement of vessels and drilling platforms for the needs of Russian oil and gas companies, placing high-tech industries and the development of social infrastructure in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. Among other issues on the agenda – discussion of the results of the implementation of the action plan on implementation of laws on public procurement and on procurement of goods, works, services by separate types of legal entities.
The session will be attended by Deputy Prime Ministers Arkady Dvorkovich, Dmitry Rogozin and Yuri Trutnev, the Russian presidential aide Andrei Belousov, Federal Ministers, representatives of departments, heads of regions, heads of core enterprises.
During his visit to the far East, Medvedev will visit ship-building complex of JSC “far Eastern plant “Zvezda” and a number of social facilities in Vladivostok.

The governmental Commission on imports established in August of 2015. She became an organ for the coordination of activities of Federal Executive authorities, Executive authorities of the RF subjects and local self-government and organizations to implement the state policy in the sphere of import substitution, reducing the dependence of industry on imports, as well as operational issues relating to the creation of conditions for timely and complete satisfaction of legal entities in the production industries. The Commission is headed by Dmitry Medvedev. In its structure established two subcommissions. One of them, headed by Dmitry Rogozin, deals with the military – industrial complex. Arkady Dvorkovich, head of the sub-Commission on the industries of civil appointment.
The governmental Commission on questions socially – economic development of the Far East and the Baikal region coordinates the actions of the interested Federal Executive bodies and their joint work with the regions of the Far East and the Baikal region in addressing issues of socio-economic development of these regions. This Commission is headed by Dmitry Medvedev.
