The new version of the Code on administrative offences is a document of almost 1600 pages. The project strengthened the enforcement component of the procedure of administrative punishment.
MOSCOW, 18 Dec. The new edition of the code of administrative offences (Cao) of Russia submitted to the Duma, said the head of the Duma Committee on constitutional legislation and state construction Vladimir Pligin.
“Today a number of deputies of the State Duma introduced a draft Federal law concerning the new edition of the Code of administrative offences”, — said Pligin to journalists on Friday.
Earlier the Deputy declared that a new version of the code is a document of almost 1600 pages.
In particular, the project strengthened the enforcement component of the procedure of administrative punishment, including the expansion of the list of measures directed on execution of administrative penalties, and increased responsibility for evasion from execution of administrative punishment.
The current wording of the administrative code was implemented on 1 July 2002.
