The ambassadors of the EU countries at the Union approved the extension of sanctions against Russia for six months. “It was an expected decision, nothing new was heard”, – said the head of Ministry of economic development Alexei Ulyukayev.
NAIROBI, 18 Dec. The EU decision to extend sanctions against Russia for another six months was expected and therefore will have no impact on the economy, said the head of Ministry of economic development Alexei Ulyukayev.
“It was an expected decision, nothing new we have not heard, absolutely will not affect the Russian economy”, — Ulyukaev told journalists.
Earlier, a source said that the Council of permanent representatives of EU countries at the Union approved the extension of sanctions. The final decision, according to him, will be taken by written procedure to 14.00 Moscow time on Monday of next week.
The authorities of the Russian Federation and Bank of Russia in their forecasts for the medium term has already laid the extension of sanctions against Russia.
