MOSCOW, December 20. At the Congress of the party “Yabloko” in the second round of its new Chairman elected member of the legislative Assembly of Karelia, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on education, culture, sports and youth Affairs, member of the party since 2003 Emilia Slabunov. It was supported by 91 delegate. Her rival, ex-the Deputy of legislative Assembly of the Pskov region Lev Shlosberg, received 56 votes.

“No today may not be ideal leaders. Perfect can be only the team. All of us together, party team will be able to come to the Duma,” said Slabunov before the second round of voting. She expressed readiness to cooperate with three other candidates for the post of Chairman – Lev Shlosberg, Gnezdilov Alexander and Nikolay Rybakov. “It will be a slaughter of the team together with the team of our experienced managers, who all these years has managed to lead our party that our party is the most deserving people,” said Slobounov.
Kabanovoy his candidacy was supported by the founder of the party Grigory Yavlinsky and the outgoing Chairman Sergei Mitrokhin.
