The second round of elections of the Chairman of party “the Apple” there were two candidates Emilia Slabunov and Leo schloßberg. For Slabunov voted 91 people, Shlosberg received 56 votes. By a vote Slabunov decided to recognize the party’s Chairman.
Earlier it was reported that the first and second leaders of the Russian liberal party “Yabloko” Grigory Yavlinsky and Sergei Mitrokhin will participate in elections on a post of the Chairman of the party “Yabloko”.
For the post of Chairman of the party were four candidates Emilia Slabunov, Nikolai Rybakov, Lev Shlosberg and Alexander Gnezdilov.
Mitrokhin proposed that Kabanovoy, Chairman of St. Petersburg Yabloko’s Mikhail Amosov candidates Rybakov and Sergei Ivanenko, a leader of the human rights faction of the party districts and Konkovo Teply Stan Valery Borshchev proposed Slosberg and Gnezdilova, the leader of the Yaroslavl branch of the party Vladimir Zubkov nominated assistant Yavlinsky, Sergei Grigorov. Ivanenko and Grigorov their candidates withdrew.

Sergei Mitrokhin took over as Chairman in 2008, previous, first Chairman of the party Grigory Yavlinsky headed it for 15 years.
