The defense Ministry called spreading the message about the alleged death of Russian soldiers in Syria

MOSCOW, December 21. The defense Ministry called the information spreading the message about the alleged death in Syria of Russian servicemen.

“The defense Ministry was surprised at the message of one of Russian Internet-editions about the alleged death of nine Russian servicemen, passing military service under the contract in Syria. Moreover, the publication refers to the investigation of the American newspaper the Wall Street Journal, in which not only there is no mention about the participation of Russian troops in a ground operation, but certainly nothing is said about their death in Syria”, – is spoken in the Department message, received by V.

“Moreover, in pursuit of sensation or desire to please more famous American publication, the authors of the material did not even bother to read on the Internet that this stuffing was made back in October, another Russian news resource. I would pay more attention to the verification of the information so as not to introduce their readers to mislead and not to create a cheap sensation,” – noted in the defense Ministry.
