Rules are developed after the decision on the redistribution of the functions of the Interstate aviation Committee (IAC). Planned date of entry into force of the relevant measures – may 2016.
MOSCOW, 21 Dec. The Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation shall develop rules establishing requirements for developers and manufacturers of aircraft and other aircraft after the decision on the redistribution of the functions of the Interstate aviation Committee (IAC), said in a statement on the Federal portal of projects of normative legal acts.
The Ministry is also developing a new procedure for state registration of aircrafts of experimental aviation of the Russian Federation.
Planned date of entry into force of the relevant measures — may 2016.
At the end of November the Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation adopted the decision on reallocation of a portion of MAC functions between the Ministry of transport, Federal air transport Agency and the Ministry of industry and trade. Function to determine the order of certification of international airports and commercial airports, the aircraft type and a number of other critical aircraft systems were transferred to the Ministry of transport. The process of certification and verification certification requirements will be conducted by specialists from the Federal air transport Agency. The Ministry has received powers for certification related to the production of aircraft.
