The reserves growth in Russia for the year will amount to more than 710 million tons of oil


The growth of the Russian gas reserves of approximately 900 billion cubic meters, said the Minister of natural resources and environment Sergey Donskoy.

MOSCOW, 21 Dec. The MEP has improved the forecast on growth of the recoverable liquid hydrocarbon reserves in 2015: oil reserves in ABC1 categories will exceed 710 million tons, gas — 900 billion cubic meters, said the Minister of natural resources and environment Sergey Donskoy.

“On oil, according to preliminary estimates, the increase in recoverable reserves in categories C1 to the end of the year will exceed 710 million tons, gas — 900 billion cubic meters”, — Donskoy said in an interview with the corporate magazine of the company NOVATEK.

Earlier the Ministry of natural resources predicted a gain of stocks of oil in Russia by the end of 2015 at the level of 710 million tons, gas — about 700 billion cubic meters. Earlier in November, Donskoi told reporters that by the end of 2015 will be made the simple reproduction (the level of hydrocarbon production will be offset by the level of reserves).

According to forecasts of the Ministry of energy of the Russian Federation in 2015 will be produced 533 million tons of oil and 668 billion cubic meters of gas.

The gain of stocks of oil and condensate in Russia by the end of 2014 amounted to 750 million tons, natural gas — 1,25 trillion cubic meters (planned 740 million tons and 1,385 trillion cubic meters respectively).
