MOSCOW, 22 Dec. The head of the Institute of development Internet (IRI) Herman Klimenko plans to accept the proposal of the Russian President to become his adviser on the development of the Internet after consulting with a family. About Klimenko said.
“The President does not refuse. I intend to follow formal procedures — consult with the family, because this is a serious decision,” — said Klimenko.
The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin earlier on Tuesday suggested Klimenko become his adviser on the development of the Internet. Communicating with heads of IT companies, Putin asked them to choose someone that is credible, who understands the whole complex of problems of the industry and could actively promote all the accumulated ideas in the government, the presidential administration and the regions. In the end the choice fell on Klimenko.
