Thanks to anti-crisis plan of the Russian authorities in conditions of extremely low oil prices and sanctions on Russia have been able to focus resources on supporting more vulnerable points in the economy and in the social sphere.
SLIDES, 22 Dec. The Russian authorities managed to achieve certain results to support the economy, despite extremely low oil prices and anti-Russian sanctions, said Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
“With (anti-crisis) plan we have ensured that resources are focused on the support of the more vulnerable points in the economy and in the social sphere. Supported to the extent possible, the processes of import substitution, while maintaining extremely low oil prices and the prolongation of anti-sanctions still could certain results be achieved,” — said Medvedev, speaking Tuesday at a meeting on the execution of anti-crisis plan of the government in 2015.
