MOSCOW, December 23. United Russia will be the only party that will run in the elections to the state Duma with a real liberal agenda. This opinion was expressed by first Deputy head of presidential administration Vyacheslav Volodin.

“The only party that will go with the right agenda, it will be “United Russia”, – he said at a conference at the Foundation for the development of civil society on elections in the state Duma in 2016. Volodin stressed that in this case expresses his personal opinion.

He explained that in the economy there are problems, the solution of which should be done in a liberal manner. The Communist party, according to Volodina, from such step “tries to stay away”, “Fair Russia”. The liberal democratic party “has its own niche area”.

Volodin doubt that the party “the Apple” will rely on the liberal agenda, this party, in his words, “always been into more social issues.”

“Most likely, there will be no competition, and Parnas will not go there in this agenda. They will try to fight for power outside of some classical benchmarks and definitions”, – said Volodin.

Thus, according to Volodina, the new Chairman of the party “Yabloko”, Deputy of the legislative Assembly of Karelia Emilia Slabunov has chances to win elections in the state Duma in single-mandate constituency.

“I can say there is one candidate (from the “Apple” – approx.). This is the new Chairman of the party. She has a chance to be elected in single-mandate constituency,” he said today at a conference at the Foundation for the development of civil society on elections in the state Duma in 2016.

Volodin noted that Slabunov “withdrew from the election for the position of head of the city” (Petrozavodsk – approx.), “and her colleague and technical candidate (Galina Shirshina – approx.) despite this received support.”

Slabunov was elected Chairman of the Yabloko Congress held on 19-20 December. She was replaced by Sergei Mitrokhin.

Extra-parliamentary parties need to work more and be competitive

Representatives of a number of parties can take part in elections to the Duma, with the support of onf

Representatives of several parliamentary and non-parliamentary parties can take part in elections to the state Duma, using the brand of the Russian popular front (onf), said Volodin.

“With the support of onf from different parties can go and nonpartisan, and party, but relevant to the popular front candidates,” he said at a conference at the Foundation for the development of civil society on elections in the state Duma in 2016.

Volodin explained that the candidate submitted to the electoral Commission the documents may be specified in the column “belonging to the public organizations” membership in onf.

“He’s able to help, from the Popular front, this support will be more related to the fact that everything will be according to the law and only by law”, – he noted.

According to Volodina, in this way, in particular, can go first Deputy head of the faction “Fair Russia” Mikhail Emelyanov in the Rostov region and the leader of the party “Rodina” Alexey Zhuravlev in the Voronezh region. “These are people representing most of the Pro-presidential coalition, while in the parties – I mean “Fair Russia”, which are opposed by “United Russia”, – he stressed.

There are a number of non-partisan deputies of the state Duma, representing the onf that can go on elections “United Russia”, said Volodin. “It is clear that participation in the list (co-Chairman of the Central headquarters of the popular front Stanislav) or govorukhina (co-chair of the Central headquarters of the onf Olga) Timofeeva will add the “United Russia”, – he stressed.
