MOSCOW, 24 Dec. Russia is ready to create additional conditions for Russian-Indian projects, said first Deputy Minister of economic development Alexey Likhachev at a meeting with representatives of Russian and Indian companies.
“I would like to emphasize that we have the highest Directive to tell you that Russia is ready to create additional conditions for Indian businesses to specific projects for the implementation of joint projects. And we, of course, expect the same approach and relations for the Russian companies working in India,” he said.
The Deputy MAYOR noted that in India now work Sistema, KAMAZ. “There are companies that only look to this market. Would like to improve the quality and presence of today’s operators in India, and increase their number,” — said Likhachev.
At the moment, however, the level of trade and economic cooperation between Russia and India “is far from the friendship between the peoples” of the two countries, noted Likhachev. “Political trust and the relationship which exists between our leaders both in bilateral and in multilateral formats. We would like to start some kind of reset of relations. To start talking business,” he concluded.
