SEVASTOPOL, 25 Dec./strong>. Free economic zone (FEZ) of Sevastopol has not yet justified itself from the point of view of investment, said in an interview with the Chairman of the legislative Assembly of the city Alexey Chaly.
The law on creation in Crimea and Sevastopol FEZ came into force on 1 January 2015. The BMS involves preferential treatment in the sphere of land relations, construction, special conditions of entrepreneurial activity, privileges and preferences to investors, as well as the possibility of applying the procedure of free customs zone.
“In my estimation, no. The majority of residents – the same company that previously worked. New among them few”, — said Chaly in the answer to the question, whether the SEZ.
He noted the low interest of foreign and domestic investors to Sevastopol.
“The potential is almost there. Sea, warm climate. The SEZ regime. It is in the black. In the red – dead infrastructure and unpredictable government. There is a resolution of the government of Sevastopol, which determines the mode of “one window”, however, de facto this procedure does not work. As far as I know, she has not yet exercised none of the entrepreneur”, — said Chaly.
According to him, in Sevastopol there are no allocated land for investment development of industry and agriculture, but there is an opaque procedure in which a potential user of the land is completely dependent on the whim of an official.
