The President of Russia Vladimir Putin did not Express complaints to the head of the Russian Central election Commission Vladimir Churov, it is premature to talk about whether the current head of the CEC included in the presidential list while campaigning for reelection to the Commission in March 2016, said the press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov.
Earlier in mass media appeared information with reference to sources in the CEC expect the resignation of Churov: he may leave the post of the CEC Chairman in March 2016, when will be reassigned members of the Commission. The supervisor became Chairman of the Central election Commission in March 2007, and in 2011 was re-elected.
“I can’t answer your question, I think it’s just premature,” Peskov said to journalists on Friday in response to a question about whether the supervisor included in the list of the President.
“Any comments or other thoughts on Churov, as you know, nobody here has stated the President had made such statements he did – it was the only thing I can say. Otherwise, I don’t have enough information, as with the election,” he added.
