MOSCOW, December 28. Official statements of politicians of the countries of the EU regarding relations with Russia over Ukraine is increasingly at odds with the view that they are voiced on the sidelines.
This was told on Monday the Minister of foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov in interview to TV channel “Star”.
“Sometimes what they say from the podium, contrary to what they tell you one on one when no one is listening,” – said Lavrov. “Alone the vast majority of EU member States tells me that error to go for confrontation with Russia over Ukraine, which itself was, in General, a victim of the policy of the European Union, who tried to put it before choice,” he added.
“And they say, well, here they are all now a little bit calm down, it is necessary to perform the Minsk agreement, then we will go back to normal interaction, strategic partnership,” he continued.
“But when they all gather together and speak from the podium, they can’t pronounce” – summed up the Russian Foreign Minister.
