Putin has imposed restrictions on the work of the Turkish organizations in the Russian Federation


Moscow. December 28. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has signed the decree introduces a ban or restriction on the performance of Turkish organisations of separate kinds of works on the territory of Russia. The list is determined by the government of the Russian Federation.

“Signs of finding businesses under the control of the citizens of the Turkish Republic and (or) organizations under the jurisdiction of the Republic of Turkey, shall be determined in accordance with parts 1 and 2 of article 5 of the Federal law dated 29 April 2008 “On procedures for foreign investments in economic societies having strategic value for ensuring of national defense and state security”, – stated in the text of the decree.

The same decree the President instructed to determine the list of contracts for the supply of goods and works, concluded with the Turkish organizations, on which the special economic measures do not apply.

The decree of 28 December shall come into force from the day of its official publication.

Earlier, Russia took a number of special economic measures against Turkey, including from 1 January 2016, Russian employers are prohibited to recruit Turkish citizens.

At the same time, the government has included 53 companies and organizations in the list of employers and customers of works that are not covered by this prohibition.
