In the past year the far East showed a very good, better than in other regions of the country, economic growth and industrial production, in agriculture, too, is a good result, said the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
MOSCOW, 29 Dec. The far Eastern region of Russia shows a good performance of development by the end of 2015, said the President of Russia Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister, presidential envoy in the far Eastern Federal district Yuri Trutnev.
“We have a lot of unresolved issues and a lot of problems in the far East, maybe even more than in other regions of the country. But in the past year the far East showed a very good, better than in other regions of the country, economic growth and industrial production, in agriculture, too, is a good result,” said Putin. He suggested that Trutnev to discuss, how is this achieved and how can this trend be maintained in the future.
According to the Vice Premier, for the first ten months of the current year growth of volumes of industrial production in the far East amounted to 3%, the index of growth of investment growth of 5%, tax income is 31%.
“That made the government of the Russian Federation: adopted two laws – the law on priority development areas and the law on the free port of Vladivostok. The law on the issuance free the people of earth in the far East is today in the State Duma and passed first reading. Also in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation on the results of the message — spreading regime of the free port to other ports of the Far East, the law was developed and submitted to the government”, — told Trutnev.
He noted that “all these laws have started to work this year, created nine priority development areas, 15 plants applications – 84, the total amount of declared investments is 240 billion rubles.”
“Six investment projects implemented with state support, about 140 billion rubles of the declared investments”, — added the Vice Premier. —0-
