Moscow. December 31. The volume of monetary base in narrow definition in Russia on 25 December was 8556,6 billion rubles, reported the press service of the Bank of Russia.
On 18 December the monetary base in Russia amounted to 8398,9 billion. Thus, during this period it has grown on 1,88%, or 157,7 billion.
Monetary base in narrow definition includes released into circulation by the Bank of Russia cash (including balances in the tills of credit institutions) and balances required reserves on attracted funds of credit organizations in national currency, deposited in the Central Bank.
