MOSCOW, 1 Jan. Freight from Ukraine to Kazakhstan across Russian territory will be carried out only from the territory of Belarus and subject to the availability of the GLONASS system. The corresponding decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin posted on Friday on the official portal of legal information.
Such freight will only be implemented subject to the application of “means of identification (seals), including operating on the basis of technology global navigation satellite system GLONASS”. Also, according to the document, drivers will need to have an coupons.
Earlier, the President signed the law on the suspension of the Treaty on free trade zone (FTZ) in Ukraine, making an exception in terms of customs duties for export of gas.
