MOSCOW, January 5. The Moscow region has increased the production of vegetables by 25% in 2015, thereby making a great contribution to import substitution.

This opinion was expressed on air of TV channel Life News, the Moscow region Governor Andrei Vorobyov.
According to the Governor, the Russian production of vegetables in 2016 also intend to increase by 25%, and in the next five to seven years it is planned to complete the replacement of domestic by imported vegetables.
“25% for the year, we increased production of vegetables, next year let’s give another plus 25%. But really we can fill the shelves within five to seven years. It again work”, – said Vorobyov.
Vorobyov said that in 2015 a complex in the Moscow region has opened 42 companies, a breakthrough has occurred in the free economic techno-innovative zone in Dubna, a special attention was given and will be given to agriculture.
